OUR GOLDEN RULES
[style=text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #000000; color: #1c2e1d;]GENERAL
everyone here deserves the same level of respect, members and staff alike, so we expect to see that. we don't want any arguments or fights but if you have a problem just notify an admin and we'll help sort it out for you. may it also be known that the c-box is not a place to advertise, argue, spam or harass the members of this forum. do not impersonate a member of staff or anyone else. failure to follow these rules will result in an IP ban on the c-box, or the c-box being taken away altogether.
JOINING
by creating an account you are confirming that you have read the rules, plot and other relevant or important threads beforehand. you are also agreeing to not steal, copy, rip or otherwise any content/boards/graphics/ideas/concepts from this site. people work hard on these things and it's disrespectful to simply take it and use it without asking first. if we find you've taken something action will be taken until you've been made to remove it. you must change your profile name so it reads like the example; 'jane marie smith', all in lowercase letters. you should then go and register your character in the correct thread.
AVATARS & SIGNATURES
everyone who joins this site must have an avatar of their character on their profile. avatar sizes can be up to a maximum of 150 x 200. signatures can go up to a maximum of 500px in width and nothing more. we don't want the site to get stretched and look ugly.
CHARACTERS
here at SOYO we don't allow power playing or god moding. you control your character and your's only unless you have been given permission by the person you are roleplaying with. please also make your characters believeable. not everyone can have a horrific past nor can anyone be a pure ray of sunshine everyday; you know it and we know it. no mary sues. just no. all your characters must be made on seperate accounts and we really don't care if you think it's more complicated that way. it's easier for us and that's that. if you decide you want more than one or two, please keep them all active.
IN-CHARACTER POSTING
as of right now, we currently do not have any word counts for you to worry about. all we ask is that you don't post one/two liners and that you do your best. we all know we can at least post a paragraph or two and it's good form to try and post the same amount as your roleplaying partner. there's nothing worse than posting 400+ only to get something like 120 in return, y'know? we would also like to point out that we would like to see at least one in-character post per week. it's not much and we're sure you can cope with that.
HAPPY ROLEPLAYING!
